Working with numerous school districts over the years has taught us a lot about the critical role that K-12 infrastructure plays in shaping the future of education. As the folks behind the scenes, we're privileged to help lay the groundwork for today’s thinkers and tomorrow's leaders. Our team is committed to creating environments that not only meet the highest standards of safety and functionality but also inspire and facilitate learning. #EducationalInfrastructure #CivilEngineering #K12Education

Join us in celebrating Civil Engineers during 2024 #EngineeringWeek! 🏗 Our engineers are serious about their work, but no strangers to a good laugh. With some help from Artificial Intelligence, we had a little fun at their expense. #Eweek2024 >>> "This year’s theme, “Welcome to the Future,” is about celebrating today’s achievements and paving the way for a brighter and more diverse future in engineering. PUPDATE My first week has been a whirlwind of exciting adventures. I have been introduced to new places, met lots of friendly faces, and encountered various animals. Each day at the office brings a chance to make a new acquaintance. I have been diligently practicing my sitting skills and mastering the art of something called "parking" – a mystery you would never guess unless you are in on the puppy secrets. To top it all off, it seems I have become quite the celebrity, as even Mayor Bryan Barnett and his team paid me a visit. Life is full of surprises and new friends! Spalding DeDecker proudly serves as a corporate puppy raiser for the Future Leader Dog program. In this commendable initiative, families of employees collaborate to take on the responsibility of raising a Future Leader Dog, contributing to the development and training of these special canine companions. It reflects the company's commitment to making a positive impact beyond the corporate realm and fostering a sense of community engagement among its employees and their families. #LeaderDogsForTheBlind #LeaderDog #GuideDog #PuppyRaising #SpaldingDeDecker Image description: A graphic with the image of a yellow Labrador retriever puppy in the center looking straight ahead chewing on a toy bone. PUPDATE 🐕 My name is Ginny, short for engineer! I plan to be a Leader Dog, not an engineer, when I grow up. My new family put in considerable effort to select my name. They opted for names of renowned women celebrated for their achievements in engineering or surveying. Here were their choices: Ginny – short for engineer Olive – Olive Dennis was the first female graduate in civil engineering at Cornell Elsie – Elsie Eaves was the first woman to be a full member of the American Society for Civil Engineers Lynja – Lynja Yamada Davis was a retired MIT engineer and well-known for her YouTube channel, Cooking with Lynja Compass – representing our survey roots Two other famous woman surveyors were Mary Feindt – first female professional surveyor in Michigan and Alice Fletcher – first American female surveyor. Neither Mary nor Alice sound like puppy names to me. Spalding DeDecker proudly serves as a corporate sponsor for the Future Leader Dog program.
